Welcome to the AU4U website.

AU4U has established the following terms and conditions so that we both know what to expect from each other. By using the site, each visitor ("you") agree to be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully. Your usage of the site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Our terms and conditions are in relation to the processing of funds to facilitate the purchase of goods and services provided by various companies under Agreement with AU4U.

AU4U and all of its affiliates or related corporations endeavour to ensure this website is accurate, timely, performs, is complete and suitable in its information and materials provided or offered, but we acknowledge that from time to time, errors may occur.

AU4U members must confirm they meet the AU4U restricted membership conditions prior to acceptance.

You may not create a link other than the affiliate link that we have provided you to this website from another website or document without our prior written consent.

Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, we take no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

Membership

AU4U’s sole purpose is to operate for a group of members who wish to facilitate their purchasing power in a united fashion. AU4U is the facilitator allowing the members to present a combined buying operation that would otherwise be unavailable to them.
Membership is by invitation only and is not open to the general public. To become a member of the AU4U buying group, you must be recommended by an existing member.

If accepted, you will be assigned your unique Member ID / User Name, which is to be quoted in all correspondence and payments. Upon acceptance, the personal details supplied by you must be accurate and updated whenever your information changes.  

To maintain your membership, you must conduct yourself in an ethical manner at all times and maintain a level of integrity that reflects well on the AU4U members. Not doing so will result in your membership being terminated.

AU4U may suspend, or permanently cancel the Membership, if:

i. It considers you are in default of your obligations in relation to these Terms;

ii. It is required to do so by law;

iii. You are acting, or may act, contrary to any law; or

iv. For any other reason, which AU4U considers is in the best interests of our business.

v. Any metal holdings that you have legitimately paid for will be sold and the balance transferred to your nominated bank account.

vi. The pricing of this transaction will depend on the price of the metal on the day your account is locked.

vii. The payout will occur within 14 days of your wallet being audited and signed off by an independent auditor that will be paid from the transaction.


AU4U processes funds received from its members into purchases for goods and services from various companies in Australia with which AU4U holds an Agreement.

Prices and Payments

All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD). A Credit/Debit Card Surcharge is payable in addition to these prices whenever a Credit Card or Debit Card is used to load the Wallet. See delivery information and costs below for details of these charges.
Prices on our website are subject to change without prior notice.
There are no GST implications. All items must be paid for in full and funds cleared before your order will be dispatched. Once payment has been received and cleared, you will receive notification of your purchase by email.

Wallet

The Wallet holds money in your AU4U account. Each member will have their unique AU4U Member ID which must be used as a reference when depositing money. Without this number being quoted correctly, there is no guarantee your funds will be credited to your AU4U Wallet. The inclusion of your surname will help in identifying you if needed.

There are two payment methods for loading your Wallet:

1. Credit/Debit Card

The following credit/debit cards are accepted: Visa and Mastercard.
A flat rate of 1.8% surcharge applies for all credit and debit card transactions and will be deducted from your total order amount.

AU4U uses Stripe as the payment gateway and their charges are: 1.7% of the total price plus $0.33 per transaction.

FYI: As Stripe charges the same fees for the use of debit cards as credit cards, the same 1.8% Surcharge applies to both. It is therefore more financially viable to use the second option of loading your Wallet by way of bank transfer rather than use your debit card if you have access to your funds by EFT.

Notes About Credit Card Secure Payment Method Used on this Website:

  1. For security purposes, (that is, yours and ours), the first time you use your credit/debit card to transfer funds into your wallet, you will be required to proceed through the authentication process.
  2. Credit/Debit Card Authentication is the process to ensure only you can purchase with your credit/debit card ie. no-one else can use your credit/debit card to make purchases. This process has proven to be the best bank practice to protect your credit or debit card from being used fraudulently .
  3. You will then receive an email containing an alphanumeric code. Then check your credit card statement or your bank statement for a debit card transaction for the small amount of money, always one dollar or less, deducted from your credit/debit card. Both the alphanumeric code and the amount deducted from your card need to be entered into the authentication fields.
  4. This way, as only YOU have access to both your email account and your credit/debit card statement, you are protected from any unauthorised use of your credit/debit card in the event that your card details have been stolen.
  5. The small amount deducted from your credit/debit card will be credited to your AU4U Wallet.
  6. You may then choose how much currency to deposit into your AU4U Wallet. If you would like to use more than one card, you will need to go through the process for each additional card.
  7. When entering the amount you wish to transfer into your AU4U Wallet, enter the amount you wish to see in your Wallet. The 1.8% Surcharge will automatically be applied and will appear as a separate transaction in your bank account.

2. Direct Deposit.

You may deposit funds into the AU4U bank account at any time. Your Wallet will reflect cleared funds and any orders placed will be shipped when sufficient funds are present.

NB: It is extremely important that you correctly identify the Wallet you are transferring funds into. If the information is incomplete or inaccurate, your funds may not reach your wallet.

Your bank transfer must include one of the following Descriptions:

1. When transferring funds to load your Wallet you must quote your unique AU4U Member ID and your Surname
or
2. When transferring for a Standing Order which was previously set up in your account, then you must quote this unique Standing Order Number (which will be ST plus numbers) and your Surname as Reference.

Allow up to 48 hours for your funds to clear, depending on your bank.
 

Orders

Confirmation of the processing of your funds by AU4U will be dispatched instantly to your email address as a PDF attachment (Question: I am not sure how this will work so just edited with 1 option) when payment is cleared, subject to circumstances within the control of AU4U. Please check that you have entered your email address correctly, as AU4U cannot be held responsible for an incorrect email delivery address.

Standing Orders

A Standing Order for processing of your funds will be implemented with AU4U by clicking the Standing Order tab and filling in the fields. You may transfer funds on an ad hoc basis or you may choose to setup recurring payments from your bank account to the AU4U Westpac bank account on a regular payment frequency of daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. You have this ability within your banking options for any amount.

After you have completed one or more Standing Orders, you will be assigned a Standing Order number for each dedicated amount and order.

Ensure sufficient cleared funds are available when the transfer is due, or your Order will not be processed. Always use your Standing Order number and surname as bank reference or description for Recipient (AU4U).

Limitation of Liability

We do not give any express warranty in relation to the processing of your funds for purchases of goods and services and you acknowledge that you have not relied on any representation or warranty made by or on our behalf in relation to the processing, or the supply of the goods and services.

Any warranties or conditions implied by law, either by statutory instrument or otherwise, are expressly excluded to the extent that such warranties and conditions in respect of the processing of your funds may be lawfully excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, if we (or any of our suppliers) are or become liable to you in any manner whatsoever for breach of warranty, then our liability (and the liability of our suppliers) will be limited solely to the price paid by you for such goods and services or the cost of their re-supply, whichever we elect.

You acknowledge that you have undertaken your own independent enquiries in reaching your decision to purchase goods through AU4U.
